@mustache3000ify no not really, it just takes some practice…
I’m making a smaller one than the BD Jet. But mine falls more into the helicopter classification because it uses 2 moving plate rotors on each side and 3 small jet engines to give it pitch stability and help in forward motion. It’s length is of about 2.8 meters. I have a few pictures of it in the simviation forums in a topic called “the mini of the skies”. It has no VC yet and the exterior is half done.

The BD-5J was featured in a James Bond film “Octopussy”. Its a great aircraft, I think it comes as a kit so you can build it, and I was also going to feature it into one of my videos, but I could not find a good version.
