Running the brandnew game Armed Assault 2 on my new PC (Phenom II 940 (4*3 GHz), 2x ATI HD 4870 (Game doesn’t support Crossfire at the moment) with 512 MB, 8 GB RAM (~3 GB with WinXP 32Bit). Running at 1280*800 Viewdistance 8000 at the beginning, lateron only 2000, Fillrate 100%. Lowest framerate: ~15 fps Gamemode: Armory
Looks like a driver problem or GPU overheat.
add to the target line -winxp to make it use all GPUs etc. at least thats what ive heard, this game aint dx10 anyways?
GPUs are set to 50% fanspeed – not more than 60°C even under full load (F@H GPU)…
Driver is the 9.4 – i’ll update to 9.6 when the driver is available
Game is DX9 – i’m running Win XP
-winxp is not “useless” but what i’ve heard is that this only loads both GPU with 50% – so no point in there i guess…

Yes, in the Armory-mode you can choose a weapon or a vehicle or something else to play with – to make it more interessting they give you some tasks you can do – e.g. the Taxi-Mission where you should pick up some troops and carry them
Is that on single player mode?
Thats a kind of single-player-mode.
It’s not the campaing, but it’s … maybe you could compare it to some kind of trainig-stuff – not the trainings-missions, but some “free training” – you can unlock all kind of things (weapons, vehicles and other stuff) when you do some stuff-specific-missions (e.g. the taxi-mission with vehicles)… hope you can imagine what i mean
